Canoe Missouri

Canoe trips in Missouri

General Information
The canoe season extends all year round. June, July and August are ideal for families. May and June are the best months for fishing. The fall colors are usually best about mid-October.

A lifejacket is required to be available at all times for each person. Non-swimmers should wear a lifejacket at all times in a canoe.

Float trips in MissouriOn overnight canoe trips, be cautious of prolonged heavy rain and make your camp on high ground. Tie up your canoes or place them on the upper side of your camp so that the river doesn't wash them off during the night if flooding occurs.

Many nice gravel bars are available to camp on along the river and please help us to keep the rivers clean and free of litter by bringing back your trash.

Rental and Hauling of Canoes
We rent canoes to inexperienced as well as experienced canoeists. Our most popular float trips are upriver from Two Rivers, either on the Current or the Jacks Fork River. You meet us at Two Rivers and leave your vehicle. We then transport you and the canoes upriver to the starting point of your trip. This allows you to float directly to your vehicle or camp with NO waiting to be picked up.
For downriver trips, an appointed time is used for canoe pick-up and transportation back to Two Rivers.
We outfit float trips that can take as little as three hours or as long as seven days. We will be happy to assist you in planning an enjoyable float trip.
